My Faith
This is a very important section for me and my family; because we are who we are because of what we believe.
I always like to see God as a loving Father, when I pray I always refer to him as "father" because a father loves and does everything for his children’s well; God adopted us as his children, to love us, correct us and teach us. The greatest show of love was sending his son Jesus Christ to be born in a manger and to grow up to bring the good news of salvation and one day die for us and for our sins!
I want to share with you some verses of Romans this is called "The Romans road to salvation"
These are the verses that I will be talking about:
Romans 3:23
Romans 6:23
Romans 5: 8
Romans 10: 9
Romans 10:13
Romans 5: 1
Romans 8: 1
-
The first verse is Romans 3:23“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God.” At some point we have all sinned and done things that God does not like; The first thing we have to accept is that we have sinned.
-
The second verse is Romans 6:23 "For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord."In this verse we see the consequences that sin brings; this verse is not only talking about physical death but also eternal death.
-
The third and fourth verses of the Romans road to salvation are Romans 6:23 "but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." And Romans 5:8 “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” Here we can see the great gift that our loving father gave us! To send Jesus Christ to die for us. The death of Jesus paid for our sins, because as we previously read the wages of sin is death; we needed to pay the price but God in his immense love paid the price by giving his son!
-
The fifth verse is Romans 10: 9 “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.” What God asks of us is that we confess and believe in Jesus and that he came to pay our sins with his death and that way we will be saved! Romans 10:13 reminds us once again “For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.”
To conclude the sixth and seventh verse are Romans 5:1 “Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ:” And Romans 8:1 “There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.” Faith is to believe and by believing in Jesus and that he died for our sins we have peace with God and we will no longer have condemnation.
